WATCH: The Coronas announce new album
The Coronas treat fans to a tour of Eastcote, the studio where they’ve been beavering away on their new album, The Long Way.
Having previously been home to Adele and Mumford & Sons, the London W10 facility is a place where musical magic regularly happens.
Taking care of LP production duties is Eliott James whose CV includes Kaiser Chiefs, Two Door Cinema Club and Noah & The Whale.
“We met Eliott by chance,” reveals singer Danny O’Reilly. “We liked the albums he’d worked on before, but mostly we chose him because we got on. He’s very hands-on, he plays lots of instruments and he suggested some new directions for the songs we wouldn’t have come up with ourselves.”
The first fruits of their liaison with Island Records, it drops here on November 21 with the pre-sale starting next Monday. It’s trailed on October 24 by lead single ‘Just Like That’ which is being premiered any moment now by Today FM.
