Fred again..'s Dublin show to feature in exclusive New Year's Eve broadcast on Apple Music
The filmed show features appearances from several Irish artists, including rappers Travy, elzzz and Reggie.
A full-length film of Fred again..'s USB002 show in Dublin is set to feature in an exclusive New Year's Eve broadcast on Apple Music.
The USB002 project saw Fred again.. visit ten cities around the world across ten weeks (revealing the location the weekend prior) and releasing new collaborative tracks along the way. The tracks were released last week as an album titled USB.
Fred again..'s November performance at RDS Simmonscourt was the only one of the USB002 shows to be filmed. Fred had previously said, "We wanted to document one of these shows and, well, Dublin is the place to do it.
The show featured three homegrown openers: Dingle-born DJ Caolan Ryan, Dubliner and founder of local label Woozy EMA and FDC DJS (aka, Carlos O'Connell, Tom Coll and Conor Curley of Fontaines D.C.).
There were also several surprise appearances by Irish and international talent.
Irish drill duo TraviS x elzzz (the former also known as Travy) appeared for a performance of their track 'did it again', while Dundalk rapper Reggie took the stage for Fred's remix of his track 'Talk of the Town'.
Shady Nasty's Kevin Stathis joined Fred for a performance of 'HARDSTYLE 2', which originally featured Galway-born DJ Kettama. Amy of Amyl and the Sniffers later appeared to perform 'You're a Star'.
Reggie reposted the trailer of the Apple Music film on Instagram, writing, "What a night. Thank you!"
Travy and elzzz also reposted the trailer on their respective Instagram stories, with Travy commenting, "Imma show this to my kids."

Apple Music Live: Fred again.. is set to air at 2:00 a.m. on January 1 via Apple Music and Apple TV.
The film will be available on demand worldwide beginning midnight on December 31 via Apple Music.
Apple Music's New Year's Eve programming is set to begin at 8:00 a.m. on December 31. It will also feature performances from ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Shygirl, The Brothers Macklovitch and more.
