Gavin James announces Limerick show
See ticket information below.
Gavin James has announced he will perform at King James Castle in Limerick on June 5, 2026.
This news follows the announcement that the Dublin singer-songwriter will be hosting two solo acoustic shows in Dublin and Killarney in May 2026. James's latest album, Goldrush, was released in September and reached #1 on the IRMA charts, making it his fourth #1 album.
Speaking recently to Hot Press about Goldrush, the singer said:"This is the funnest album I’ve ever done. Because there’s a lot more in it. I jumped into production way more on this record than I have on any other. You chase a lot of perfection with pop records, so I wanted to make it a little less shiny and nice."
He began his career as a busker and pub musician, before garnering attention for his cover of the Magnetic Fields' 'The Book of Love' in 2014, which later became a platinum-selling hit. He is known for his storytelling ballads and trending pop singles such as 'Nervous' and 'Bitter Pill'.
Tickets for the Limerick show go on sale this Friday at 10am and are available for purchase here.
