He's been confirmed as the biggest thing in hip-hop right now (new album To Pimp A Butterfly went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with ease after smashing Spotify records) but Kendrick Lamar is sill not above the law.
After a stealthy tweet, the rapper and his band set about performing at different spots in LA last night as they travelled the city on the back of a 18-wheeler.
Echoing the ends of impromptu public performances from The Beatles and U2, the police swiftly shut it all down.
