WATCH: Gods of Egypt trailer

Everyone's favourite Scottish actor, Gerard Butler, is returning to the big screen, but this time for an ancient action-packed film.
Gods of Egypt is an upcoming fantasy feature that explores the fictional story of ancient Egyptian deities. In the movie, the god of darkness conquers the throne in Egypt, which encourages a mortal Egyptian and the god Horus to save the world.
In addition to Butler, Gods of Egypt will feature Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Brenton Thwaites and Geoffrey Rush. It will also be directed by Alex Proyas.
The fantasy movie will be released in both 2D and 3D, and is schedule to hit cinemas February 2016.
