hotpress.com is delighted to premiere the new video from young Wicklow contenders The Matthews.
'Broken' is a soaring ballad which swells with emotion, showcasing vocalist Jack Matthews' unique style. The group, which also features Jack's brothers Max (lead guitar) and Art (bass), recorded the tune on the same piano, in the same studio, with the same Grammy-winning engineer Phil Allen, that Adele's 'Someone Like You' was recorded - a mark of the level of artist that some believe the trio will soon be challenging for world domination.
Produced by Warren Huart, who has previously worked with the likes of Aerosmith and The Fray, it sets things up very nicely for an EP which the band will record in LA later this month.
The video, edited by RMM audio video solutions, is a stylish single-take affair, which matches the song to perfection. Give it a watch below.
