Veroa set to launch debut EP in Crawdaddy
Alt-rock trio Veroa are set to launch their debut EP in Crawdaddy, Dublin this Saturday July 16.
The band made up of Clodagh Kerley (vocals, guitar), Shane Byrne (bass) and Ruairi Conaty (drums) will also be giving away free copies of the self-titled EP as well as releasing a new music video.
The band, originally known as Clodagh Kerley, was formed four years ago in Ballyfermot College where the trio studied together. Since then they have played at venues across the country like The Button Factory, The Spirit Store and Whelan’s as well as festivals such as KnockanStockan 2010. They also hope to record their debut album before the end of the year.
Veroa is currently touring the country and you can catch them on these dates:
June 19 – No Place Like Dome, Sligo
June 23 – The Spirit Store
July 22 – KnockanStockan Festival, Blessington Lakes, Co. Wicklow
August 8 – The Garden Sessions, Birr, Co Offaly
Admission to the launch of the EP in Crawdaddy on Saturday is €10. Support on the night will come from Owensie and Sarah McQuillan.
