[Venue update] Grouper plays the Dublin Filmbase as part of D.E.A.F.
You definitely won't be fleeced at the bar!
Portland, Oregon dream popper Grouper – think The Cocteau Twins with a twist of This Mortal Coil – makes what we’re pretty certain is her Irish debut on October 30 in Filmbase.
Tickets are €12 from www.tickets.ie and you can bring your own perfectly chilled Chateau Pape de Neuf or Dutch Gold.
Better-known to the IRS as Liz Harris, she’s joined in the Temple Bar venue by John Wiese (a man who makes Dan Deacon sound like The Jonas Brothers), Boys Of Summer, Whirling Hall Of Knives and local scary electronic fuckers Over who are also in action on September 26 in Cork’s Granary Theatre with Costes.
