UPDATED: Tower celebrate Record Store Day
Hooray For Humans and 202s are among those playing instore.
Tower Records do their bit to celebrate international Record Store Day on April 18 with the following swinging by their Wicklow Street branch:
Noon – Heathers
12.30pm – Hooray For Humans
1pm – 202s
1.30pm – Story Of Hair
2pm – The Laundry Shop
3pm – One Day International
4pm – Neil Hannon
5pm – Very special guest (tbc)
As always, instores are free and for all ages.
To celebrate the day, Tower are also offering a 10% discount throughout the store, and are making special vinyl releases available – including records by Tom Waits, New Order, Sonic Youth and more. Plus, there are gig tickets and vouchers to be won.
Also marking the occasion are City Discs, Freebird and Road Records (Dublin); Cool Discs Music (Derry); E2 Music (Mullingar & Navan); Plugd (Cork); and Rollercoaster Music (Kilkenny).
