Talk about snatching triumph from the jaws of hype. Whoever the hell he is, that Randy Fitzsimons character is a damn fine tunesmith. I’m still trying to figure out what the title means, but aside from that, this single is regular Hives fare – 2 minutes of E numbers-fuelled mayhem, welded to a distinctly infectious killer hook. It’s a relentlessly hyper song with an impressively mainstream feel, so expect to hear it on a TV ad for The OC sometime soon.
