The 'social media for social good' event comes to The Village later this month
Details of this year's Dublin Twitter festival or 'Twestival' have been announced, proving that Twitter is not just about stalking your favourite celebrities.
'Twestival' aims to connect communities offline for a fun event and a great cause, and this year Dublin has its very own Twitter festival which takes place in The Village on Thursday March 24.
Entry is a simple €5 donation, with all proceeds going towards sending Ireland's athletes to this year's Special Olympic Games in Greece.
Paddy Cullivan, resident satirist with the Leviathan Political Cabaret, has been confirmed as the MC for the evening, alongside Rock and Roll karaoke outfit Songs Of Praise, while some very special live acts are still to be confirmed.
