Sabrina Carpenter's Man's Best Friend claims top spot on Irish charts
Following her wins at the VMAs, the American pop singer takes a victory in the Irish charts.
Sabrina Carpenter's new album Man's Best Friend has reached the number one spot on the Official Irish Albums Chart.
Additionally, her album, released on August 29, has scored the number one spot on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums. She's also number one on Spotify’s Weekly Top Artists Ireland, and all 12 album tracks on Apple Music have made the Top 50 in Ireland.
It's also been a major week on the chart for Irish music, with homegrown artists occupying four of the Top 5 slots.
Following Carpenter, Kingfisher have claimed the No.2 position with August's Halcyon.
President Michael D Higgins' spoken word album Against All Certainty, meanwhile, has debuted at No.3, following its release on September 5.
Amble's May album Reverie remains on the chart, taking No.4.
Lastly, CMAT's EURO-COUNTRY, released in August, took the fifth spot.
