He says Sinead O'Connor 'stole his heart', and calls Prince 'the most cinematic of musical geniuses'.

For the U2 frontman's 60th birthday, he has created a playlist of songs that changed his life, and written fan letters to each of the artists. On that playlist is 'When Doves Cry' by Prince as well as 'You Made me The Thief of Your Heart' by Sinead O'Conor.
