Tommy Fleming still top of the Indie Album Chart
There are very few changes this week as a host of solo artists dominate
Tommy Fleming makes it two months at the top of the Indie chart this week, with the Sligo native’s Going Back album continuing to hold off all challengers in the race for the Christmas No. 1 spot. Daniel O’Donnell (who just screams ‘indie’ as well, we know) seems a contender – his new Christmas album O Holy Night remains at No. 2. Just below, author Joseph O’Connor’s Drivetime Diaries is still at No. 3, flying the flag for spoken word fans everywhere.
There are a few leaps near the top – Colm Wilkinson’s Broadway And Beyond goes from No. 8 to No. 4, while Villagers’ Becoming A Jackal rises from No. 9 last week to No. 5.
Few changes elsewhere, though, at the lower end, Declan Nerney, Coronas and The High Kings all creep into the top 20.
