Tiger Untamed band competition

An exciting new band competition is about to be unleashed, which will see bands from all over the country descending on Mullingar.

A judging panel will select 24 acts from the ones sending an MP3 of one song and a biog to [email protected] to take part in the series of six Tiger Untamed heats, which are taking place in the Annebrook House Hotel from mid-March onwards.

The winners of those will participate in the two semi-finals and, hopefully, the Grand Final, which will all be covered by Hot Press.

Up for grabs is a prize package worth €20,000, and which includes €5,000 in cash, a week’s recording time in the NutShed Recording Studio, €6,000 worth of equipment and instruments from Music Maker, a professional photo-session courtesy of FINNimaje, a video shoot and lots more.
Having produced the likes of The Blizzards and The Aftermath, Mullingar is already punching above its musical weight and is set to become even more of a rock ‘n’ roll hotspot as Tiger Untamed progresses.

Closing date for applicants is February 26.
