Tickets for Electric Picnic 2026 to go on sale this Wednesday

Tickets for Electric Picnic 2026 are set to go on sale tomorrow, September 3 with no changes in prices or capacity.

The announcement came shortly after the conclusion of the 2025 festival, which Hot Press covered extensively.

According to Festival Director Melvin Benn, next year's headliners for two out of three nights have already been booked.

"We don’t stand still at the Picnic, there will always be changes," said Benn to reporters on Sunday.

"There’s a few little bits that I want to change and with headliners, we have two of the three nights booked and we are in a really strong place with that. The third night we are not under pressure on, so we are waiting a bit. I’m not going to tell you who they are, obviously!"

Benn said at last week's press preview day that the 80,000 music fans attending EP 2025 — the festival's largest ever crowd — is "an amazing amount of tickets for a country as small as Ireland."

On Sunday, Benn confirmed next year’s capacity will remain capped at 80,000 and rejected suggestions of expansion.

“Definitely not. I feel we’re at the right level at this point in time and I’d like to settle it at 80 before I start thinking about it,” he said. He added that while the main stages will remain shut on Thursday, more entertainment options would be added for early arrivals in 2026.

Regarding tickets, Benn confirmed prices will remain unchanged from this year. When asked about social media criticism of on-site food and drink costs, he said "the pricing is really good for the food, actually."
