Thrillkenny Zombie Festival is coming
Two nights of the living dead in Kilkenny, with the likes of RSAG and Liam O Maonlai playing.
Promising a "weekend to dismember", Kilkenny gets "medi-evil" (okay, we'll stop) on Saturday and Sunday, October 25-26.
The Thrillkenny Zombiefest is Ireland's largest fancy dress event, so everyone in the city is being asked to make an effort to zombify themselves – there will be spot prizes in bars and clubs throughout the city.
Over 20 bands are also set to play. The Zombie Ball will feature Liam O Maonlai, RSAG, King Kong Company, Johnny Moy, Elektro Bank and, Ozzy's son, Louis Osbourne.
The Global Thrill Dance World Record attempt takes place at 7pm on Saturday at Canal Square, while the Zombie Walk for Enable Ireland starts at 2pm on Sunday afternoon at MacDonagh Junction.
There will also be free movie screenings of World War Z, Zombieland, Dawn of the Dead and Braindead, and much, much more.
All events are strictly over 18s, apart from the Zombie Walk.
