Thread Pulls and Twinkranes for Whelan's
Dublin acts get together for a double headline show in June.
Dublin bands, Thread Pulls and Twincranes have confirmed a double headliner gig in Whelan's on Sat. June 25.
With an upbeat progressive sound stripped back to a core of drums and bass, experimental two-piece band, Thread Pulls, released their debut album New Thoughts to critical acclaim on Irish label Osaka Recordings at the end of 2010 and subsequently embarked on an extensive tour of Europe.
Dublin-based electro pop act, Twincranes released their debut LP Spektrumtheatresnakes in November 2009, which has been described as a "fantastically unhinged mix of speeded-up krautrock rhythms, dirty drones and wonky synthesizers".
With two of Dublin's most compelling live acts, it's set to be an exciting show.
Tickets priced €12 are now available at WAV and [link]www.tickets.ie[/link]
