Shakira and Burna Boy release new single ‘Dai Dai’

Shakira and Burna Boy release their new collaborative single ‘Dai Dai’, out today via Sony Music Latin.

It follows the news that Shakira will co-headline the half-time show of the 2026 World Cup final alongside Madonna and BTS, set to take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, coming in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

'Dai Dai' will be the official anthem of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise USD $100 million by the end of the FIFA World Cup 2026 to provide children around the world with access to quality education and sports.

Shakira’s royalties from the track are set to be donated to the Education Fund, while Sony Music will match the first $250,000 raised with a donation. Additionally, Shakira will also donate $1 from every ticket sold to her upcoming Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour.

“The World Cup is one of the few things the entire world experiences together,” said Burna Boy. “Football and music speak the same language. They bring people together no matter where you’re from and being part of this moment through music means a lot to me.”

Earlier this month, Shakira returned to where she began her international career, at Rio de Janeiro's 2026 Todo Mundo No Rio concert, bringing together over 2 million fans.
