The Streets to perform A Grand Don’t Come For Free in Dublin and Belfast
Tickets will go on sale Thursday, November 20.
The Streets have announced that they will perform their landmark 2004 album A Grand Don’t Come For Free in full for the first time, with a limited run of shows in 2026.
Mike Skinner and his band will play Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on February 15 and Belfast’s Telegraph Building on February 16, 2026.
Originally released in 2004, A Grand Don’t Come For Free debuted at No.1 in the UK and went multi-platinum, featuring singles ‘Dry Your Eyes,’ ‘Fit But You Know It,’ and ‘Blinded By The Lights.’
“A Grand Don’t Come For Free was a moment in time — for me, and for everyone who grew up with it,” said Skinner. “We’ve been looking for something bold to do with the live show, and we landed here. Some tracks have never been played live, others haven’t surfaced in years. It’s a new challenge to bring the whole journey to life on stage.”
The announcement follows a busy year for Skinner, who released his debut feature film The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light alongside an album of the same name.
The Streets broke through with 2002’s Original Pirate Material, earning Mercury Prize and BRIT Award nominations. Their follow-up, A Grand Don’t Come For Free, won an Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for ’Dry Your Eyes.’
Tickets for The Streets’ Dublin and Belfast shows will go on sale Thursday, November 20.
