The Quantic Soul Orchestra comes to Dublin
The Choice Cuts crew just keep out doing themselves, this time they're bringing over the outstanding funk outfit The Quantic Soul Orchestra.
On March 26 Brighton's eleven- piece funk orchestra The Quantic Soul Orchestra will be performing in The Village.
Consistently bringing over the best in live hip hop, funk and soul, Choice Cuts are once again raising the bar with this gig. The QSO pride themselves as a live project, no samples allowed and innovation a- plenty. After three acclaimed studio albums (The 5th Exotic, Apricot Morning & Stampede) on the UK’s Tru Thoughts Records they have never tried to be trendy or retro, and with talent in such abundance and a vocalist with as phenomenal a range as Alice Russell there’s just no need for gimmicks.
Any music fan will get something from this show, but if funk, jazz or hip hop is your bag you simply must go. As DJ Magazine said about QSO in January, "Incredible gigs up and down Britain have left audiences not sure which way is up, but hell, they’ll dance on the ceiling when the groove’s this good."
