The Meaning of Love

In all honesty, is there any real point in validating, contextualising, or reviewing this music? Surely this has about as much to do with music as the launch of a new kid’s toy? Aside from the fact that Michelle McManus has about as much star quality as an elderly senile relative, the faux-emotional soulfulness of this song is a nauseating example of songwriting-by-numbers. Not so much the meaning of love as the tawdry and heinous sounds of unabashed and uncreative commerce.
