The Lonely Ones

The lead track finds the Limerick band stalking poppier territory than the Radiohead/Coldplay variations of their previous work. With the foundation of a simple if slightly repetitive chorus, they then put the effects pedals to fine use on guitars and vocals. Also included is their winsome piano ballad ‘Machine,’ which was this year’s winner of the much coveted hotpress Song of the Year award.
