The King Kong Club comes to RTE 2XM
The weekly live music show will take place in The Village
The show features performances from six to seven emerging acts, in front of an interactive audience who choose the winner.
Hosted by Keiron Black (lead singer of The Amazing Few), The King Kong Club will also feature audio visuals courtesy of The Photsonic Orchestra. Keiron’s addition to RTÉ 2XM sees him join the line up of presenters which already includes Robotnik, Miss Paula Flynn and Dudley Colley (The Dudley Corporation), among others.
RTÉ 2XM’s Mark McCabe commented: “We’re delighted to have added The King Kong Club to our growing schedule. 2XM has a very strong focus on emerging Irish bands and The King Kong Club is really at the centre of all of this. I’ve no doubt that it’s going to be a great show and the start of something big for Irish bands.
Tune into The King Kong Club every Wednesday on RTÉ 2XM at 3pm and Sundays at 10pm.
