According to the quartet’s Jim Griffin, “We thought we’d up uplift everybody’s snowy January with a new single. It’s a bitter little pill with a nice sugary pop coating.”

Lyrically, the single is a tongue-in-both-cheeks look at what it takes to make a pop hit. Recorded with Tommy O'Sullivan in Ashtown Studios, it was mixed by Chris O'Brien and Graham Murphy at The Production Suite, and mastered by Richard Dowling at WAV Mastering, Limerick.
