THE TANSADS: 'The English Rover' (Musidisc)/ THE HAIR AND SKIN TRADING COMPANY: 'Go Round' (Beggars Banquet)

Diddly aye raggle taggle that basically consists of the words "I'm The English Rover" being repeated over and over in chirpy fashion until you want to scream "Yes! Yes! You're absolutely right! You're the English rover - there is no doubt in anyone's mind whatsoever!". Lovely backing vocals though, and at least they're happy, unlike The Hair And Skin Trading Company who have decided to go gothic on 'Go Round'. The guitars at the end are wonderful, but there's a lot of bleak, repetitious, doom-laden twaddle to get through in the meantime.
