The Dudley Corporation on tour with new album
The second long- play, 'In Love With The Dudley Corporation', from the Dublin based band is out on Februrary 2 on Scientific Laboratories Records, with gigs around Ireland and Britain to follow.
'In Love with The Dudley Corporation' has put them in the Irish charts already, when the first single taken from it, 'What a Human Does', went into our top thirty last September.
The Dudley Corporation have had plenty of positive responses to both their releases and live sets so far. They have toured Iceland and the US, and shared the stage with acts like Low, Steven Malkmus and Rocket from the Crypt. They also have XFM and Peel sessions in the pipelines, so it' ll be interesting to see how they fair with their second album. It was recorded at Chem 19 (Scotland) with The Delgados' string section and features artwork by Atsuo from Japanese rockers Boris.
Their tour dates include: January 22, Whelan's (Dublin); February 6, Freebutt (Brighton); February 10, Feet East (London); February 14, Winchester (Glasgow). For full details, keep an eye on www.thedudleycorporation.com
