The Bones of Cork celebrate St Patrick's Day

The Bones of Cork – that's Eoghan Kelly, Mick Marshall, Paul Dunlea, Eoin Nash & Paul Frost on trombone – plus Stephen Kelly (drums), Dan Bodwell (bass), and Phil Collins (Piano) – play a March 19 show at the Cork School of Music on Union Quay.

The act are Ireland's only 5 trombone and rhythm section group, playing swinging jazz from the likes of composers Duke Ellington and Count Basie.

This is the group's first gig since an appearance at last year's Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures, and will see them joined by Irish jazz saxophonist Michael Buckley, who'll be playing tracks from Miles Davis' Kind Of Blue record.
