Finn Wolfhard directs first music video for George Harrison's ‘Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)’

Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard has directed the first-ever music video for George Harrison's 'Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)'.

The stop-motion video explores the gardens of Harrison’s private estate, Friar Park, in Henley-On-Thames and features a number of easter egg references to the Beatles member's career.

The video was shot frame-by-frame with each element handmade by a team of stop-motion artists.

“To work with the Harrison family and bring this video to life with a team of incredible young Canadian artists has been a great honour,” said Wolfhard.

“It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this opportunity. George Harrison has and will continue to be a huge inspiration to me, and his work will live on forever.”

Harrison’s son Dhani Harrison worked as the project's executive-producer alongside David Zonshine.

“Finn is one of the sweetest and most talented people I know of his generation, and he is the perfect person to direct a video for my dad," he said.

“My dad would have loved this, and I hope his wonderful, creative, heartfelt ideas help this song reach another generation. Great job, Finn – we love you.”

The actor directed the film Hell Of A Summer, which premiered in 2023. In June, Wolfhard released his debut album Happy Birthday, following his previous musical career as the frontman of Calpurnia and as a member of the indie-rock duo The Aubreys.

'Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)' featured on Harrison’s 1973 solo album Living In The Material World.
