Another act for whom releasing a single is akin to pissing in the mainstream wind but by God it’s good to have them back. Suburban Homeboy is nothing short of sheer brilliance. A fantastic satire on white hip hop culture – “we have an old school mentality / Oxford and Cambridge mentality / Respect to our peeps but please keep your receipts” - it’s over clever, over blown and utterly essential. The kind of record that the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band would be making if they were still around.
