Streetlight/A&B Song

The whole singer/songwriter phenomenon of the past few years is one I have mostly regarded with scorn. It’s refreshing, therefore, to hear some-one like Tom McRae deliver his bittersweet vignettes with such absolute conviction. Where ‘Streetlight’ is as tender and blue as a bruise, ‘A&B Song’ is battle-scarred and caustic. Brilliant lyrics. Memorable melodies. Call me a convert.
