Somethings Going On

Hardly a singles band of note, Lambchop’s ambient alt. country textures are best enjoyed in much longer bursts than the 2.34 radio edit on this cut from Awcomon & Noyoucmon. Boasting an infectious melody, singularly bizarre singing from Kurt Wagner and cheesy MOR backing vocals, this is strangely compelling. Now, who among you radio programmers will be brave enough to playlist it?
