Snow Patrol: We want Oxegen!
Snow Patrol have issued a ‘come and get us’ plea to the twin Oxegen and T In The Park festivals.
“It’s the old Scottish and Irish thing again, our two homes,” says guitarist Nathan Connolly. “Scotland and Ireland are always the best gigs for us.”
Other acts likely to be Punchestown-bound this year are Muse, The Killers, Razorlight, The View, KT Tunstall, Scissor Sisters and Fall Out Boy.
Meanwhile, Snow Patrol’s ‘Chasing Cars’ is back in the UK top 10 this week following a change in the chart rules, which means that a song no longer has to be physically available to qualify for the charts.
‘Chasing Cars’ dropped out of the survey last month when the CD version was deleted, but continues to sell steadily on download.
