Simply Red plot autumn dates

After making their way through the UK this spring, Mick Hucknall and mates are back in Ireland at the O2, Dublin on August 21 and Belfast's Odyssey Theatre the next night.

The band formed in 1984 and are now celebrating 25 years in the business, on tour to support their 2-disc Greatest Hits release featuring a load of previous chart-bothering tracks like 'Holding Back The Years', 'Stars', 'Fairground' and – maybe due for a zeitgeist-capturing re-release? – 'Money’s Too Tight To Mention'.

Tickets to the show will go on sale Monday, March 30 at 9am through Ticketmaster.
