An interesting package for lovers of all things left of centre. On three of the mixes, amyl-fuelled breakbeats collide with sonic torpedoes firing on all cylinders, distorting and mutating with the intensity of a firestarter on acid. The Piano Dub takes you on a different trip as chunky beats and a fierce Weatherall-style dub b-line are laced with a haunting piano and a pained Peter Gabriel vocal snippet. This weird and wonderful Manchester outfit is worth watching. (MK)
