Sharon Horgan Wins BAFTA Craft Award
Sharon Horgan's accolade achievements just keep on growing.
Her comedy gold struck again as Horgan walked away with the gong for the BAFTA Craft Award for Comedy Writer for her contribution in Channel 4's hit Catastrophe.
She shared the celebration with her co-writer and star Rob Delaney. The pair have made Catastrophe a smash comedy hit with public appreciation at a high and critical acclaim ever evident. The show sees Horgan and Delaney as a pairing after a sex-romped weekend leads to an unplanned pregnancy and much hilarity and awkwardness ensues. Even their acceptance speech shows the comedic banter these two have.

Horgan recently won two IFTA awards at this years ceremony for her work on the show and is also nominated in the upcoming BAFTA awards on May 8 for her performance in the show.
She's one of comedy's hottest tickets nowadays as Horgan is involved in several highly anticipated shows, including HBO's Divorce starring Sarah Jessica-Parker. Channel 4 are acutely aware of Horgan's talent as she collaborates with them again on The Circuit, this time her writing partner in crime being Father Ted's Graham Linehan.
