Shark School to open for Marky Ramone in Dublin

Shark School are set to support Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg at the Button Factory on January 28.
The Dublin gig will act as the concluding show to Blitzkrieg's upcoming tour, which also includes shows across the UK.
Marky Ramone is known for his time as drummer of quintessential 70s punk band The Ramones, replacing Tommy Ramone in 1978, and was also a founding member of the hard rock band Dust. He formed Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg in 2008.
Shark School is a female-fronted Galway band, known for tracks such as '411' and 'Choose Life', which appeared on Netflix's House of Guinness soundtrack. In 2024, the group founded Galway's annual Femme Fest, which showcases a variety of female-fronted bands at the Róisín Dubh.
Shark School have additionally played supporting slots for bands such as SPRINTS, Adore, NewDad and Pillow Queens.
