Irish punk band Adore have released the new track 'Show Me Your Teeth', their first since signing to UK label Big Scary Monsters.
Consisting of Lara Minchin (guitar and vocals), Lachlann Ó Fionnáin (bass and vocals) and Naoise Jordan Cavanagh (drums), Adore hail from Dublin, Donegal and Galway.
“'Show Me Your Teeth' was written during a period where I had nightmares every night for 5 months,” says Minchin.
“These nightmares often lead to me waking up several times throughout the night, resulting in several nightmares with different, sometimes interwoven storylines. An ambivalence developed towards these nightmares, which then translated into waking life.”

Since releasing their debut single 'Postcards' in June 2023, Adore have built a strong live reputation, supporting acts such as SPRINTS, Chalk, and The Scratch.
They shared a string of singles in late 2024, including 'Can We Talk' and 'Supermum!', and sold-out a headline show at Whelan’s in Dublin.
Working again with producer and Gilla Band member Daniel Fox, 'Show Me Your Teeth' features a mix of jagged, heavy, and unrelenting sounds. “It's about wanting to see the imperfections alongside the ideal, about wanting intentions to be revealed, good or bad", says Minchin.
The release of the song coincides with the band’s first UK headline shows and an upcoming tour across Ireland, including shows at All Together Now in August and Button Factory in Dublin on November 29.
