SexyTadhg, Turn, Adore and more announced for Aurfest 2026

The programme has been announced for Aurfest 2026, set to Bellurgan Park, outside Dundalk, on 3 – 4 July 2026.

Fresh from winning Small Music Festival of the Year at the 2026 IMRO Live Music Awards, Aurfest will welcome singer and performer SexyTadhg and alt-rock Kells band Turn as headliners.

Other musical acts on the bill include Ria Rua, Adore, Messy Avocado, Eugene O’Hanlon and band, The Future West, Audrey Marian Fay, Jobseekerz and much more.

On the comedy side of the programme, Aurfest will offer sets from Shinanne Higgins, Breda Hegarty, Aideen McQueen and Joe Dowling, with more acts to be announced.

A new 2026 addition, the Open Mic & Seanchaí space is curated by Áine Duffy, and sets to bring forward spoken word, storytelling and experimental performance into the mix, alongside her own musical project, Duff Box.

Created by a group of Dundalk-based musicians, comedians and event professionals, Aurfest is a homegrown project aiming to champion original Irish artists across genres.

Co-founder Sonya Larrigan says: “Coming into year two, we really wanted to build on what made Aurfest special in the first place, keeping it intimate, keeping it fun, and putting Irish artists front and centre.

“There’s an incredible energy when you bring this kind of talent together in a setting like Bellurgan Park. It’s relaxed, it’s a bit unexpected, and it’s all about giving people a great weekend.”
