Seba Safe announced for tonight's Hot Press Lockdown Sessions
Catch his live-streamed performance tonight on the Hot Press Instagram.
Following last night's stunning performance from Emma Langford, we're delighted to announce Seba Safe as the latest act on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions – playing live on the Hot Press Instagram tonight, April 7, at 7:30pm.
Dublin songwriter Michael D'Alton, the mastermind behind Seba Safe, is rapidly proving himself as force to be reckoned with in the Irish music scene. Spending the greater chunk of 2018 locked away in a cabin in the Wicklow mountains, he has crafted a full catalogue of songs – writing candidly on personal relationships, love, loss and change.
With influences including Maggie Rogers, Youth Lagoon and Dermot Kennedy, Seba Safe's sound spans folk, dance and R&B. Capping off 2019 with his second single 'Wired' and support slots at Malaki and Columbia Mills' sold-out shows, the Dublin artist is gearing up for another landmark year – with his rescheduled headliner now taking place at The Sound House, Dublin on November 5.
Throughout the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions, our star-studded line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
We encourage everyone who enjoys Seba Safe's performance tonight to support him through this difficult time for musicians by buying his music – plus tickets for his upcoming headliner here.
Watch Seba Safe (19:30) tonight, April 7 – live from the Hot Press Instagram.
