RuthAnne announces show at Dublin Unitarian Church

Dublin-born pop singer RuthAnne has announced a show at Dublin Unitarian Church for February 20, 2027.

The performance comes alongside two other dates in Manchester and London in March.

"An evening of music, stories, love and all the things that make us human," reads a social media post from the singer sharing the news. "These are going to be such special nights. Up close, personal and straight from the heart. Just my voice, my songs and you."

Meanwhile, in October, RuthAnne shared 'Older', a single that she described as a tribute to her father.

"'Older' came from watching my dad get older and realising that, somewhere along the way, our roles had started to change," she said of the track. "He has COPD, and I’ve watched someone who always looked after me begin to need looking after himself.

"I think 'Older' is me trying to process that shift, but more than anything, it’s about not really feeling ready for it."

The pop artist moved from Ireland to the United States at 17 to pursue a professional music career. In 2007, she won the ASCAP Award for Best Pop Song after co-writing JoJo's single 'Too Little Too Late'.

She also co-wrote songs like Britney Spears' 'Work Bitch', One Direction's 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go' and 'No Control', and Westlife's 'Beautiful World'.

The artist has earned two Grammy nominations for her album contributions - her first in 2019 for John Legend's A Legendary Christmas, and her second in 2022 for co-writing tracks on Diana Ross's album Thank You.

In 2019, she released her debut solo album Matters of the Heart, followed by EP The Way I Love You in 2021 and studio record The Moment in 2025.

The last time she performed in Ireland was October of last year at Dublin's Sugar Club.

"As she walked off stage, arms wide, The Sugar Club knew it had witnessed an artist truly at home - authentic, radiant and full of heart," wrote Hot Press in a review of the show.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am here.
