Running In Dreams

Iain Archer is currently at the enviable and exciting juncture of his career where he is enjoying ‘gonna-be-huge’ status without yet having to bear the weight of fame or recognition. Fortunately the proof is in the pudding and it transpires that Archer is fully deserving of the ‘next big thing’ tag. ‘Running In Dreams’ is an understated but highly engaging and endearing track, blessedly existing beyond the confines of the established tradition of Irish songwriting, gravitating instead towards the influence of American lo-fi stalwarts like Pavement and Sebadoh. Stardom surely beckons… or at least, it should do.
