The 72 year old folk singer is currently on unconditional bail but will be up in court in 2014.
Roy Harper will stand trial in 2014 for a string of child sex offences that he is alleged to have committed in the 1970’s.
According to ITN, the singer, who currently resides in Rossmore, Clonakilty, Co Cork, faces nine charges, including two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl aged under 13. He also faces three charges of indecent assault and four of gross indecency against the same alleged victim.

Harper was an influential musician in his day and has collaborated with legendary artists such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and recently was the recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. He has released 22 albums over his career.
