Instrumental rock trio The Aristocrats have announced a headline performance at The Academy Dublin on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 as part of their Duck Tour.

Formed in 2011, the multinational band includes British guitarist Guthrie Govan (Hans Zimmer, Steven Wilson), American bassist Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai) and German drummer Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, Satriani).

The band blends elements of hard rock, jazz fusion, metal and country. Their live shows are marked by technical precision, complex arrangements and offbeat humour, sometimes drawing comparisons to Frank Zappa for their musical and interpersonal spontaneity.

The Aristocrats' self-titled debut album was recorded in just eight days and widely praised by critics. Since then, they have released four additional studio albums.

Their latest project Duck (2024), is a concept album telling the story of an Antarctic duck fleeing a penguin policeman to New York City.
