Haken to play headline Academy show as part of their in a fever dream tour

Progressive metal band, Haken, have announced that they will be headlining Dublin's Academy on Tuesday, February 2, 2027. This comes after the release of their newest EP in a fever dream. 

The London band grew to popularity after the success of their 2010 album, Aquarius. The band comprises Ross Jennings, Richard Henshall, Pete Jones and Ray Hearne.

Haken notes that, "this EP was born from a period of reflection and rediscovery. Over the last few years, we’ve faced challenges that forced us to look inward, both as musicians and as people, and the songs on this record are the result of that journey."

"Musically, we pushed ourselves into new territory, embracing fresh influences while holding onto the intensity and identity that define this band."

The EP was co-produced by George Lever, most known for working with Loathe and Sleeptoken. Tracks also include bass from Bryan Beller of The Aristocrats.
