SLIFT announce Dublin show
Listen to ‘A Storm of Wings’ below.
SLIFT have announced a headline show at Dublin's Academy on December 8.
The French psychedelic rock band's show is in support of their upcoming album Fantasia, set to be released on June 5.
Inspired by the works of Argentinian author Jorge Luís Borges, who is known for blending magic and surrealism into places and plots, Fantasia is said to be about an imaginary town plagued by a sense of unknowing and xenophobia, of trying to eliminate anything that disrupts the accepted order.
The group announced the forthcoming album last month, releasing the track ‘A Storm of Wings’ alongside the news.
Formed in 2016, the trio previously performed in Dublin, selling out Whelan's in 2024.
SLIFT comprises brothers Jean (vocals, guitar and synthesisers) and Rémi Fossat (bass) as well as their high school friend, drummer Canek Flores.
Tickets will be available here on Friday, April 24.
