The Navan duo played the BBC Introducing Stage on Sunday evening
Christy Leech from electronic duo Le Boom has worn a 'Seas le Mo Chara' t-shirt in support of the Kneecap member during a show at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Liverpool.
The words, written in black on a white t-shirt, are Irish for 'Stand With Mo Chara'.
The show of support from the Navan duo comes after Mo Chara - whose real name is Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh - was recently charged with a terrorism offence for having allegedly displayed a Hezbollah flag at a concert last year.
In response, the band released a statement saying, "We deny this 'offence' and will vehemently defend ourselves."
Kneecap also added that the charge was made "To restrict our ability to travel. To prevent us speaking to young people across the world. To silence voices of compassion. To prosecute artists who dare speak out."

The three-day festival took place in Sefton Park and featured almost 100 acts across four stages. Headliners included Sam Fender, Tom Odell, Tate McRae, Jorja Smith and Lola Young among others.
Last Friday, Kneecap played their first major show since Coachella at Wide Awake Festival in London. Alternative rock act English Teacher, who also played at the festival, made supportive comments of the Irish rap trio during their set.
