Ride the summer airwaves in Limerick
Wanna be a radio star when you grow up? Wired FM's Summer School is now enrolling...
Limerick's college radio station, Wired FM, is running Summer School courses for both primary and secondary pupils.
A week in length, each primer will take in research and presentation techniques, outside broadcasting, sound desk and equipment operation, digital editing, interview skills, production and loads more wireless essentials.
Costing €60 per participant, courses will be limited to 12 places which means plenty of one-to-one tuition.
For more information contact Wired FM at (061) 315773 or [email protected]
Meanwhile, 96.8 and 106.8FM are the frequencies to tune into if you'd like a break from Morning Zoos, €10,000 'Phrase That Pays' Cash Calls and bleedin' Will Young.
