The national broadcaster is beefing up its digital oldies operation...
The bad news is that Rick O’Shea’s Sunday October 15 show will be his last for 2fm who’ve availed of his services for the past 16 years.
The good news is that, as part of the development of the national broadcaster’s digital services, he’s to present a live weekday 3pm-6pm show on RTÉ Gold commencing November 3.
Also joining the Monday-Friday line-up is Will Leahy who’ll be on breakfast show duties from 7am.
“RTÉ Gold has been a hidden gem in our digital suite of stations for many years and I am very excited about two more experienced and popular presenters joining our new schedule,” PD Aidan Leonard enthuses. “I hope listeners seek it out as they will be hooked when they do.”
