Rememberesce EP
The latest four-piece from the Big Apple to spark a record company feeding frenzy, The Stills (like their mates Interpol) owe a sizeable debt to early ‘80s British pop acts.
The latest four-piece from the Big Apple to spark a record company feeding frenzy, The Stills (like their mates Interpol) owe a sizeable debt to early ‘80s British pop acts. The opening ‘Still In Love Song’ is like an amalgamation of Joy Division and The Cure, with a dollop of The Wedding Present thrown in for good measure. ‘Killer Bees’ is too dreamy for its own good and the acoustic ‘Talk To Me’ sounds like a last-minute addition. Interesting but unlikely to change your world.
